Sažetak

The purpose of this research study is to provide a description of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation within Bosnia and Herzegovina based on accounts provided by law enforcement officers. The current study relies on self-reported survey data collected from 363 Bosnian Border Police officers in the sum-mer of 2011. The majority of officers surveyed stated that sex trade in BiH has become an internal affair where the majority of individuals involved (i.e., traffick-ers, clients and victims) are Bosnian and Herzegovinian nationals. Findings pre-sented have important implications for anti-trafficking programs and legislation.
